Located on a cliff area with an elevation of approximately 415 metres, on the northern slope of the island, the Terra Alta Viewpoint unfolds between the parishes of Santo Amaro and Ribeirinha. It offers one of the most extraordinary encounters with the breathtaking expanse of the Atlantic, that connects Pico and São Jorge, as well as the entire southern slope of the island. It features a projecting structure against the backdrop of the lush cliffside.
