Visiting the Centre for the Arts and Marine Sciences, a space that perpetuates whaling history, you can permanently view its industrial collection, a multimedia exhibition on the biology and ecology of large cetaceans titled “Giants of the Sea,” and the exhibition “Sea Life,” recreating various marine species observable in the Azorean sea, in the Atlantic Ocean.
