Scuba Diving

There is a wide variety of appealing diving sites in terms of marine life, rock formations, as well as of rich historical and cultural interest. Of particular note is diving at the Princesa Alice seamount, located about 50 miles from the coast, considered one of the best diving sites in the Azores, where you can be surrounded by the largest pelagic fish, large groups of manta rays, or even sharks, namely Galapagos sharks.
